We are seeking a mechanically inclined Commercial Laundry Equipment Installer to deliver, install, and commission industrial washers, multi-load dryers, and related equipment across laundromats, hotels, and multi-housing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver & Position: Safely transport, uncrate, rig, level, and anchor heavy commercial laundry machinery to concrete foundations.
- Utility Connections: Hook up water, drainage, natural gas/propane lines, exhaust venting, and electrical connections (single-phase and 3-phase).
- Testing & Startup: Run test cycles, calibrate settings, verify utility pressures, troubleshoot error codes, and ensure safety interlocks are functioning.
- Accessories: Wire and integrate payment systems (coin/card readers) and chemical injection pumps.
- Documentation & Safety: Follow OSHA safety and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols; complete digital work orders and site sign-offs.
Qualifications:
- 1–2+ years of experience in equipment installation, commercial appliance service, HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude; ability to read schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift 75+ lbs and maneuver heavy machinery using dollies, hoists, and rigging tools.
- Trade school certs, OSHA 10/30, or EPA certifications are a plus.
