Build Something Big From the Ground Up
500,000 square feet. Approximately 150 employees. Three shifts. And we’re just getting started.
SIP Manufacturing is building a major new manufacturing operation in Southaven, Mississippi. It will be our second facility, following our operation in Lake Elsinore, California, with more growth ahead.
This is a chance to get in on the ground floor and help build something from the beginning. We’re not just building a facility. We’re building the team, processes, standards, and culture that will define how this operation runs for years to come.
We’re looking for people who take ownership, move with urgency, work well across teams, and want their contribution to make a visible difference. Whether you’re joining us on the production floor, in a technical role, or supporting the operation, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape what comes next for SIP.
Beverage manufacturing experience is something we value, but it is not required. If you bring strong experience, the right skills, and the mindset to help us build a great operation, we want to hear from you.
Come build it with us.

The role protects physical inventory integrity, maintains clear ownership and status segregation, supports production readiness, and ensures outbound orders are loaded accurately and on time.
Detailed Responsibility Framework
The following responsibilities define the position’s primary accountabilities in priority order. They do not eliminate reasonable related duties or the need to follow approved policies and procedures.
1. Lead safe and compliant warehouse operations
Ensure receiving, storage, material movement, staging, loading, equipment operation, housekeeping, and employee practices comply with safety, food-safety, Quality, regulatory, and company requirements.
2. Own physical inventory accuracy and control
Maintain accurate quantities, locations, lot numbers, ownership, status, and traceability for ingredients, packaging, work-in-process, and finished goods.
3. Manage receiving and put-away operations
Ensure inbound materials are received, counted, inspected for visible damage, labeled, recorded, status-controlled, and placed into the correct storage location promptly and accurately.
4. Verify customer-supplied material receipts
Compare physically received customer-owned materials with expected items, quantities, ownership, shipment documentation, and commitments. Report discrepancies promptly to Planning, Procurement, Quality, and the CRM.
5. Maintain inventory ownership and status segregation
Ensure SIP-owned, customer-owned, Quality-held, released, rejected, damaged, obsolete, and otherwise restricted inventory is properly identified and segregated both physically and in Business Central.
6. Support production through accurate material staging
Pick, verify, and stage the correct materials, quantities, lots, and packaging for each approved production order or batch within the required readiness window.
7. Manage material movement and production returns
Control the movement of materials to and from Production, Batching, and Kitting. Ensure unused materials, partial quantities, damaged items, and production returns are accurately identified, reconciled, and recorded.
8. Manage finished-goods receipt and storage
Receive completed production into the warehouse, verify quantities and identification, maintain the appropriate Quality status, and store finished goods in the assigned location.
9. Execute accurate outbound shipping and load-out
Pick, verify, stage, and load finished goods according to approved shipment instructions, customer requirements, pallet configuration, lot controls, and release status.
10. Coordinate inbound and outbound appointments
Manage dock schedules, receiving appointments, customer collections, carrier arrivals, and loading windows in coordination with Procurement, Planning, CRM, and other responsible functions.
11. Coordinate outbound transportation when SIP is responsible
Arrange and manage approved outbound carriers for Turnkey and other SIP-managed shipments. For customer-arranged collections, coordinate pickup readiness and loading without assuming responsibility for carrier selection.
12. Manage cycle counts and physical inventories
Establish and execute cycle-count programs, investigate variances, complete approved adjustments, and support periodic physical inventory counts and reconciliations. Verify physical-count results against warehouse-system records, document root causes, and complete adjustments only through authorized approval controls.
13. Manage warehouse space and layout
Optimize slotting, storage density, material accessibility, traffic flow, building segregation, dock utilization, and space allocation while protecting safety, quality, and traceability.
14. Manage finished-goods aging and customer-held inventory
Monitor storage duration, aging, space consumption, release status, and agreed storage terms. Escalate excess, aged, blocked, or uncollected finished goods before they create capacity or financial exposure.
15. Resolve receiving and shipping discrepancies
Investigate shortages, overages, damage, incorrect items, labeling errors, missing documents, loading discrepancies, and other warehouse-related variances. Coordinate corrective action with the responsible functions.
16. Maintain accurate warehouse system transactions
Ensure receiving, put-away, transfers, picks, staging, consumption support, returns, adjustments, finished-goods receipts, and shipments are recorded accurately and promptly in Business Central.
17. Maintain warehouse equipment and operational readiness
Ensure forklifts, scanners, docks, racking, staging areas, and other warehouse resources are appropriately inspected, maintained, available, and safely used.
18. Lead, organize, and develop the warehouse department
Provide leadership for SIP’s largest operating department, including its managers, supervisors, leads, coordinators, inventory-control personnel, and frontline warehouse employees. Establish a scalable organizational structure, staffing plans, shift coverage, labor deployment, management routines, performance expectations, training, cross-training, and succession plans. Build leadership capability at each level, hold the team accountable for safety, inventory control, productivity, service, and process discipline, and ensure sufficient staffing and management coverage to support production requirements, customer commitments, and company growth across all operating shifts. Coordinate hiring, performance management, and personnel actions with HR and the General Manager within delegated authority. Develop departmental labor, equipment, and operating-budget recommendations and monitor approved spending and resource utilization.
19. Maintain warehouse procedures and work instructions
Develop and enforce SOPs, work instructions, visual controls, location standards, receiving protocols, staging requirements, and shipping-verification procedures. Align receipt, storage, and distribution procedures with the approved supply-chain strategy and material-availability requirements.
20. Partner with Continuous Improvement to improve warehouse performance
Work closely with SIP’s Continuous Improvement team to evaluate warehouse workflows, establish performance baselines, identify root causes, prioritize improvement opportunities, and implement sustainable solutions. Develop and maintain standard work, visual controls, operating metrics, process audits, and follow-up mechanisms that improve inventory accuracy, transaction discipline, staging effectiveness, space utilization, dock performance, labor productivity, damage prevention, order-loading accuracy, and overall warehouse reliability. Ensure improvements are documented, communicated, trained, measured, and sustained across shifts and facilities.
