Smith Stripes Property Maintenance looking for a dependable, experienced Lawn Maintenance Technician to join our growing lawn care and landscaping company. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, is self-motivated, and can manage a route independently.
Responsibilities
- Manage an established weekly route of residential and commercial properties
- Operate stand-on and zero-turn mowers, string trimmers, and backpack blowers
- Safely drive a company truck during work hours and tow a 16-foot trailer
- Perform weekly mowing, trimming, edging, and cleanup
- Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on mowing equipment
- Identify and solve problems as they arise while in the field
- Work independently with little supervision while maintaining a high standard of quality
Qualifications
- 2 years of professional lawn maintenance experience required
- Experience operating stand-on and zero-turn mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Comfortable towing and maneuvering a 16-foot trailer
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Clean background check
- Ability to work independently and stay on schedule
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Mechanically inclined is a plus
