Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Electricians for a commercial project in , Newark, OH area
- PAY: $26.00-35.00/hour (based upon experience)
- HOURS: Shifts will be 8-hour workdays (Plus Overtime) 5 days per week
- SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday- Friday; 9:00 PM-7 AM
- START DATE: ASAP
- Duration: Temp to hire
Electrician Job Description:
We are looking for an electrician capable of bending and running conduit, pulling wire, and installing light fixtures. Must be able to wire panels, terminate, and troubleshoot.
Technical Skills
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and schematics.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Install conduit, including: EMT, Rigid, IMC, PVC
- Bend conduit using hand and hydraulic benders.
- Pull and terminate electrical wiring and cable.
- Install panels, switchgear, transformers, disconnects, and lighting systems.
- Install receptacles, switches, and electrical devices. Work with voltages including:120V, 208V, 240V, 277V, 480V
- Troubleshoot electrical faults using meters and testing equipment.
- Follow the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Qualifications for Electrician:
- 2+ years of electrical experience in a commercial setting.
- Proficiency with wire pulling, bending, and running EMT conduit.
- Ability to terminate and troubleshoot.
- Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE
- Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Must have PPE including steel toe work boots, hard hat, gloves, high visibility vest, and protective eyeglasses.
- Must have standard electrical hand tools.
- 2–5+ years of commercial electrical experience.
Experience working on:
- Office buildings
- Schools and universities
- Hospitals
- Retail stores
- Warehouses
- Manufacturing facilities
- Safety Knowledge
- OSHA safety regulations.
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Proper use of PPE.
- Fall protection.
- Ladder and lift safety. Physical Requirements
- Lift 50–75 pounds.
- Work on ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts.
- Stand, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods.
- Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
Additional Requirements for Electrician:
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must have reliable transportation to the job site
