Warriors 2 Workforce is hiring experienced Pipefitters and Pipe Fabricators for a fabrication shop in Columbus, OH.

We are looking for candidates with hands-on experience laying out, measuring, cutting, fitting, and assembling piping systems in a shop, industrial, commercial, or mechanical construction environment.

Both 1st and 2nd shift opportunities are available.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and piping specifications
• Measure and verify pipe cut lengths
• Perform pipe layout and fit-up
• Cut, prepare, and assemble piping components
• Position and secure pipe for welding
• Work closely with welders and fabrication personnel
• Perform quality checks for dimensions and accuracy
• Operate hand tools, power tools, cutting torches, and pipe fabrication equipment
• Assist with material handling and shop organization
• Follow OSHA and company safety requirements

We're Looking For Experience With

• Pipefitting
• Pipe fabrication
• Pipe spool fabrication
• Blueprint and isometric reading
• Layout and measuring
• Fit-up
• Carbon steel piping
• Stainless steel piping
• Mechanical piping
• Industrial or commercial piping systems

Candidates with welding experience in addition to pipefitting are especially encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Approximately 2+ years of pipefitting, fabrication, or related construction experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and/or isometric drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Accurate measuring and layout skills
• Familiarity with fabrication tools and machinery
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to obtain OSHA 10 if not already certified
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening requirements

This position may require candidates to demonstrate their fabrication and/or welding ability during the hiring process.

Pay

Competitive hourly compensation based on experience and demonstrated skill level.

Relevant backgrounds include Pipefitter, Pipe Fabricator, Mechanical Pipefitter, Industrial Pipefitter, Fitter/Welder, Fabrication Fitter, Pipe Welder/Fitter, and Plumbing/Piping Fabricator.
