WHO WE ARE
At Cocoa Dolce, we believe life is better with a little chocolate!
Founded in Wichita, Kansas, in 2005, Cocoa Dolce has spent 20 years creating beautiful, handcrafted chocolates and confections that bring people together. Behind every box that leaves our facility is a dedicated team that takes pride in quality, presentation, and the details that make the experience special.
We’re a locally established, collaborative team with a passion for great products and doing things the right way. From artisan chocolates to custom gift sets, everything we create starts here at our downtown production facility.
Now, we’re looking for Packaging Team Members who care about quality, enjoy working with their hands, and take pride in making sure every piece looks as good as it tastes.
THE ROLE: PACKAGING TEAM MEMBER
As a Packaging Team Member, you’ll play a key role in protecting the quality and presentation of our finished products. You’ll carefully build, pack, and label chocolates to company, client, and guest standards—making sure every box that leaves our facility reflects the care we put into making it.
You’ll work alongside Production and Logistics to keep packaging accurate, support fulfillment goals, and help maintain the high standards our guests and clients expect. This is a great fit for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and enjoys being part of a hands-on team that takes pride in the work.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Protect Product Quality & Presentation
- Accurately build, pack, and label finished chocolates according to order information and pack standards.
- Build collection boxes, mixes, bars, and sets to company visual standards, including inserts and band labeling.
- Inspect finished product appearance, weight, and seal quality before handoff to Logistics.
- Handle fragile product with care while maintaining a consistent pace.
Keep Systems & Inventory Accurate
- Complete ERP processes to keep manufacturing, transfers, and inventory accurate.
- Rotate finished goods using FIFO and report shortages before they affect fulfillment.
- Assist with inventory counts, packaging-material preparation, and project setup for seasonal and custom orders.
Support Daily Goals & the Team
- Support packaging and order fulfillment to help meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
- Assist Logistics and Production as needed.
- Communicate promptly with management about product discrepancies, packaging defects, or quality issues.
Maintain Standards & a Clean Workspace
- Follow quality standards, company systems, procedures, and policies, including allergen control, OSHA, FDA, and other applicable regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packaging area and follow proper sanitary practices (handwashing, glove use, etc.).
WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT?
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Detail-oriented: You notice the small things that make the presentation perfect.
- Careful with product: You’re comfortable handling fragile chocolates and following exact pack specifications.
- Reliable and steady: You show up ready to work and keep a consistent pace, even during busy periods.
- A team player: You communicate well and work effectively with Production, Logistics, and the rest of the team.
- Adaptable: You can adjust to changing priorities and support peak seasonal demand.
- Quality-focused: You take pride in knowing your work protects the product and the guest experience.
You don’t need extensive packaging experience to start! We’re looking for people who are eager to learn, careful with their work, and excited to be part of a team that cares about the details.

- At least 16 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.

- Food handlers course completion required (or ability to obtain).
- Ability to follow pack specifications and use packaging tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work at a steady pace.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn our systems for data entry and inventory processes.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work extended hours or shifts during peak seasons, as well as occasional weekends, evenings, and holidays.
