We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our company and support our Litchfield, IL location. As the Maintenance Supervisor, you are a key member of the site leadership team responsible for all maintenance activities at the site to ensure equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and compliance with safety standards.  This role leads and develops a team of maintenance mechanics and electricians.  The Maintenance Supervisor collaborates across various process areas and locations, utilizing creative problem-solving skills to foster innovation and improve efficiency.

What You’ll Do:
Continuously drive a safe work culture, ensuring employee engagement with safety as well as site compliance with all our safety programs

Schedule and ensure proper execution of all maintenance related activities at the site, including labor demands, preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance, capital projects and reliability improvements

Ensure completion and updating of appropriate records, documents, and/or reports, examples include capital forecasting, daily & weekly schedules, and non-compliant reports

Implement and monitor maintenance metrics to increase efficiency and reliability

Coordinate and work with other key personnel to establish capital plans and build business cases for prioritization

Coach, support, and develop a team of employees in a manner that fosters effective collaboration and teamwork while also demonstrating and modeling Core Values

Plan, maintain, and track facility maintenance and capital project budgets. Utilize lean manufacturing and six sigma tools to lead troubleshooting and support root cause failure analysis

Oversee vendor and contractor management, including selection, compliance oversight, coordination of activities, safety assurance, and budget administration

Other duties as assigned

Education:
You have your High School Diploma/GED.

What Skills You Need:
One year of leadership experience (i.e. program/process lead, supervisory experience, etc.)

Exceptional interpersonal skills, including good written and verbal communication skills

Strong problem-solving skills and are solution oriented

Highly motivated with good organization, prioritization and time-management skills to drive projects to on time completion

Has relevant industrial maintenance experience and/or experience in leading large-scale capital projects

Proficient in using Microsoft applications, such as Word and Excel

Holds a valid US driver’s license

Willingness and flexibility to work a daytime scheduled with extended hours, including weekends and holidays, to support operations as needed

Demonstrates experience in creating accurate budgets and tracking expenditures to optimize operational performance

Physical Job Requirements:
Stand and sit for extended periods

Work both outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditions

Lift up to 60 lbs.

Perform work that involves repetitive motion and/or repetitive lifting

Exposure to dust and plant allergens including but not limited to corn, sunflower, cotton, and canola pollen and protein and sorghum as well as potential mold spores and/or chemicals in the course of your duties

What Makes You Stand Out:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Maintenance, or related field

Experience with a CMMS system such as SAP

Experience with PowerBI

LEAN/SMED, Six Sigma experience

Familiarity with PLC Programming

Electrical and mechanical knowledge

The salary range for this position is $74,530.00 to $102,930.00. This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base salary for this role. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus. Based on factors such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.
