About this position

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Location

Kennewick, WA. Primarily on-site with flexibility to work from home as appropriate. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Note:

Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Washington State and have at least 1 year of litigation experience. Family law experience is highly preferred, but strong litigation attorneys from other practice areas with an interest in family law are encouraged to apply.

Job Description

  • Represent clients in family law litigation matters including divorce, child custody, parenting plans, child support, spousal maintenance, and related disputes.
  • Manage a diverse caseload from intake through resolution.
  • Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal briefs.
  • Conduct legal research and develop effective case strategies.
  • Represent clients during hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and trials.
  • Build trusted client relationships through excellent communication and advocacy.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and staff to deliver outstanding client service.
  • Negotiate favorable settlements while preparing cases for litigation when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate case documentation and ensure compliance with legal deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Active Washington State Bar license.
  • 1+ year of litigation experience.
  • Family law experience preferred.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and courtroom advocacy skills.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship abilities.
  • Highly organized with strong case management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
