About the job

The Process & Quality Engineer will improve semiconductor assembly processes, with a focus on

die attach and wire bonding, while supporting quality initiatives and production priorities.


We're looking for someone who

● Has hands-on experience with semiconductor assembly processes, particularly die attach and wire bonding

● Can translate shop-floor knowledge into stable, repeatable manufacturing processes

● Has experience developing, documenting, and maintaining process parameters, work instructions, travelers, and training materials

● Has strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for equipment and process issues

● Can lead or support root-cause investigations and corrective actions

● Has experience with process controls, risk assessments, and change control documentation

● Can design or improve fixtures and tooling to support manufacturability, quality, and operator safety

● Can support quality-management activities and audits (ISO 9001/AS9100 experience preferred)

● Can coordinate supplier quality issues and support calibration and document control activities

● Works effectively across engineering, operations, and quality teams


What you'll do

● Own and continuously improve die attach, wire bonding, and related microelectronic assembly processes

● Develop, document, and maintain process parameters, work instructions, travelers, and training materials

● Design and improve fixtures and tooling to enhance manufacturability, quality, and operator safety

● Troubleshoot equipment and process issues and implement corrective actions

● Support quality-management activities and audits

● Lead or assist with root-cause investigations and corrective actions

● Assist with risk assessments, process controls, and change control documentation

● Coordinate supplier quality issues

● Support calibration and document control activities

● Collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality teams to balance process improvements with production priorities

● Help sustain and continuously improve established semiconductor devices and assembly processes


Physical requirements

● Must be comfortable working hands-on in a semiconductor manufacturing and production environment

● Must be able to stand, walk, and work at production equipment for extended periods

● Must be able to use hands and fingers for detailed assembly, inspection, and equipment-related tasks

● Must be able to occasionally lift and move materials, tooling, and equipment as needed

● Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)

● Must be comfortable working around manufacturing equipment and production environments

● Must be able to perform detailed visual and hands-on work requiring close attention to precision
