We are seeking a Senior AV Technician and Smart Home Integrator to support residential smart homes, luxury home theaters, multi-room AV systems, and commercial AV environments. Reporting to the Project Manager, this role works within an installation and technical project team while independently handling field assignments across the local service area. The position offers pathways to lead technician, project management, and technical leadership roles.
Responsibilities
- Design and install audio-visual, automation, and smart home systems.
- Program control systems using Lutron, Savant, Control4, and Crestron Home platforms.
- Integrate AV systems with residential and commercial networks.
- Perform structured cabling, system commissioning, and technical troubleshooting.
- Calibrate audio and video systems for optimal performance.
- Provide client training and support.
- Maintain project documentation and coordinate with vendors.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience with AV and automation systems.
- Experience with audio-visual systems design and home automation systems.
- Knowledge of Control4 and Crestron platforms.
- Experience with network configuration and structured cabling.
- Proficiency in audio and video calibration.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and client communication skills.
