Immediate opening for a General Laborer in Vista, CA who possesses:
- Reliable and able to work on your feet for 8 hours per day
FULL DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a General Laborer to support production, assembly, material handling, packaging, and general manufacturing operations. This role will assist with assembling products and components, staging materials, preparing finished goods for shipment, maintaining an organized work area, and supporting other production needs as assigned. Training will be provided as applicable. The ideal candidate will be reliable, willing to learn, and comfortable working on their feet throughout the workday.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Assembling products, components, or sub-assemblies following work instructions, drawings, and bills of materials
- Performing hand assembly tasks such as fastening, wiring, or soldering as applicable, with training provided
- Inspecting work visually and flagging defects or discrepancies
- Following company handling procedures, including ESD-safe practices where required
- Operating hand tools and basic equipment safely and correctly
- Kitting, staging, and loading parts and materials
- Keeping accurate counts of parts and materials at the workstation
- Packaging, labeling, and preparing finished products for shipment
- Keeping the workstation and production area clean, organized, and free of hazards
- Following all safety rules and procedures
- Wearing required personal protective equipment
- Reporting unsafe conditions immediately
- Performing other general labor and production duties as assigned
The selected candidate will also possess:
- Reliable and able to work on your feet for 8 hours per day
- Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures
- Willingness to learn and assist with different production tasks as needed
- Ability to work onsite in Vista, CA
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for up to 8 hours per day
- Ability to use hands and fingers for assembly, material handling, packaging, labeling, and hand-tool use
- Ability to bend, reach, grasp, and perform repetitive hand and arm movements throughout the workday
- Ability to visually inspect products, components, and finished work
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move materials or finished products as needed
- Ability to work around hand tools, basic production equipment, components, and manufacturing materials
- Ability to wear required PPE and follow all applicable manufacturing, production, and safety procedures
Salary Range: $18/hour
