AECS Inc. is currently seeking a highly motivated qualified journeyman electrician for construction projects for long-term employment.
This position provides growth opportunities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Safety:
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements and safe working procedures
- Follows job site safety procedures.
- Lay Out and Installation
- Follows daily plans as described by the operation manager.
- Reads blue prints, details and specifications for proper installation
- Identifies material needed for assigned jobs and works with operation manager to obtain needed material in a timely manner.
- Installs electrical systems per quality and NEC standards.
- Diagnosis and reports electrical problems to operation manager.
- Works independently
- Uses hand tools and power tool appropriately
Productivity:
- Maintains installation production targets
- Relays progress to operation manager.
- Coaches quality installation practices
Qualification:
- Knowledgeable of the National Electric Code requirements
- KNOWLEDGABLE IN RUNNING AND BENDING EMT & RIGID CONDUIT.
- Knowledge of electrical material, components, equipment systems, layout and methods of installation
- Must be able to read and interpret blue prints, one line diagrams, wiring diagram and written specifications.
- Must provide their own transportation and hand tools
- 5 years experience in the electrical construction industry
