Barbouzard, the French-Mediterranean restaurant helmed by renowned Chef Cedric Maupillier, around the corner from the White House, brings alive the French Rivieria setting alongside authentic coastal cuisine for an unforgettable hospitality experience.

We are currently looking for Craft Bartenders to join our polished and professional team—someone who brings infectious pride, acts with integrity, and takes ownership in everything they do.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create seasonal creative cocktails with consistency / Create bar recipes
  • Lead your Team
  • Batch
  • Create an unforgettable guest experience, every shift/ Build rapport with members at the bar, anticipating preferences and providing personalized service.
  • Own your bar—keep it clean, stocked, and dialed in
  • Move with urgency while staying cool under pressure
  • Follow all food and beverage safety standards, while practicing responsible, compliant alcohol service at all times.
  • Accurately manage tabs, charges, and POS entries
  • Work as part of a tight, supportive team
  • Learn, improve, and bring something new to the table

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 2 years of experience in fine dining/upscale environment
  • Proficiency with Classic Cocktails / Creative Craft driven
  • Knowledge of European wines and food a plus
  • Strong personality with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Great communication and natural people skills
  • Someone who thrives in a busy environment and performs with excellence
  • Team players who show up, work hard, and have each other’s backs
  • Attention to detail without losing speed
