Job Description

Production Control Coordinator

Cherry Creek Machine | Tulsa, Oklahoma
$65,000–$80,000 base pay, depending on experience, plus monthly bonus opportunity
Full-time · On-site · Monday–Friday

Cherry Creek Machine is hiring a Production Control Coordinator to keep production organized, jobs moving, and customer commitments on track. This role combines production scheduling, shop-floor coordination, and purchasing in a growing CNC machine shop.

We offer a fully climate-controlled shop, medical, dental and vision benefits, PTO, and a monthly employee bonus program based on shop revenue.

You’ll work closely with leadership and machinists to maintain realistic schedules, identify problems early, and coordinate solutions. We’re looking for someone who follows through, communicates clearly, and enjoys bringing order to a busy manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain the production schedule. Use Fulcrum ERP to keep job priorities, machine capacity, production progress, and expected completion dates current.
  • Keep work moving. Follow jobs through the shop, check progress with machinists and shop leadership, and coordinate action when work falls behind.
  • Identify delivery risks early. Flag material shortages, capacity constraints, and scheduling conflicts before they affect customer commitments.
  • Communicate clearly. Provide production priorities and dependable job-status updates to leadership, the shop team, and customer service.
  • Support accurate job tracking. Help resolve missing or incorrect labor entries and work with shop leadership to improve recording consistency.
  • Handle routine purchasing. Following training and a phased handoff, place approved orders, confirm supplier delivery dates, and follow up on items needed for production.

You’ll manage routine scheduling within agreed priorities and involve leadership when competing commitments or purchasing exceptions require a decision. Scheduling will be your initial focus, with purchasing responsibilities transitioning as you learn our operation.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in manufacturing production scheduling, planning, expediting, or a closely related coordination role.
  • Experience using an ERP, MRP, or digital production scheduling system.
  • Practical understanding of how materials, machine capacity, and job progress affect delivery dates.
  • Strong organization and follow-through across multiple jobs and changing priorities.
  • The ability to work effectively with machinists, shop leaders, suppliers, and office staff.
  • A self-directed approach, reliable attendance, and sound judgment about when to act independently and when to ask for help.

Preferred: CNC machine shop experience, purchasing or material coordination experience, and familiarity with Fulcrum ERP.

Prior Fulcrum experience is not required. You should be comfortable learning software and using it consistently. Relevant manufacturing experience matters more than a particular degree or previous job title.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base pay: $65,000–$80,000 annually, depending on relevant experience and demonstrated capability.
  • Monthly bonus opportunity: Employee bonus program based on shop revenue.
  • Benefits after 90 days of full-time employment: Medical, dental, vision, and PTO.
  • Direct-hire, full-time position.
