About this position

Eastern Idaho drivers: steady grocery freight, round trips that always bring you back, and a home weekly schedule.

No experience? No problem. Drivers straight out of CDL school are trained for this account.

Questions new drivers ask us

  • “Is this no touch?” Yes. You never unload the trailer.
  • “How long am I out?” Every load is a round trip, and you are home every week.
  • “What trucks will I drive?” Automatics, pulling dry and refrigerated trailers.
  • “Does my school count?” 120 hours or more from a CDL school, and yes.

Your pay

  • $1,300 to $1,500 average per week, $60,000 to $75,000 a year
  • $650 a week while you train
  • $10 first stop, $15 every stop after
  • $20 extra on loads under 250 miles
  • 2,500 to 3,000 miles weekly

Where you run

Store deliveries for one retail customer, based out of northern Utah, covering Idaho, Utah, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Nevada and California. The account never stops: day and night dispatches, weekends and holidays included. It moves fast and rewards drivers who like to keep rolling.

Your first six weeks

It starts with a phone call where a recruiter checks your license and record with you. Orientation lasts 2 days at most, with the hotel paid, your bus ticket reimbursed and $300 once hired. Then 4 to 6 weeks beside a mentor learning backing, trip planning, logs and fueling. Then the truck is yours.

You will need

  • A Class A CDL and to be 21 or older
  • 120 hours of CDL school, or 6 months of recent driving
  • Up to 2 moving violations in 2 years, no DUI/DWI in 10
  • DOT physical plus hair and urine drug test

Benefits from day 31: medical, dental, vision, prescriptions, 401(k), stock purchase plan, paid time off, and a tuition free online degree for you plus one family member.
