Job description
At Out & Out, our Assistant Manager is a hands-on leader who works alongside the team while helping keep the Eatery running smoothly. You’ll know the operation, support the team, solve problems, and take ownership of the restaurant when you’re the manager on duty.
We’re looking for a dependable leader who can regularly work evenings and independently close the restaurant. You should be comfortable making decisions, leading a primarily young team, maintaining standards, and handling the normal challenges that come with running a busy restaurant shift.
• Lead shifts and oversee restaurant operations as manager on duty
• Regularly work evening shifts and independently close the restaurant
• Coach, support, and provide direction to Team Members and Team Leads
• Maintain standards for food quality, guest service, cleanliness, and food safety
• Handle guest concerns and solve problems as they arise
• Complete cash handling, closing, and other manager responsibilities accurately
• Work alongside the team in all areas of the restaurant when needed
• Communicate effectively with the General Manager and other leaders
• Restaurant leadership experience preferred
• Reliable, responsible, and comfortable making decisions independently
• Evening and weekend availability required
