Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Full Time / PT Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to become a part of our team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for well visits and acute, episodic or chronic illnesses.
- Provide medical orders for treatments, prescriptions/refills, medication administration, diagnostic testing, and referrals.
- Review, interpret, and respond to diagnostic test results; and coordinates notifications to and follow up with the patient, when applicable.
- Provide counseling to patients and their families on issues related to health.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using our EMR system( Office Practicum).
- Create and contributes to patient care plans.
- Demonstrate proficiency in time management and can work in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain professionalism with a welcoming bedside manner.
- Work independently regarding most clinical decision-making.
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned by the Medical Director
Qualifications:
- Board-Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant ( PA)
- Minimum of 1 year experience working as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
