Barista

About this position

Barista for the opening cafe team at a new Brooklyn restaurant and cafe. We are looking for baristas who take coffee seriously and can hold quality and speed during a busy service.

What you'll do:

- Prepare espresso drinks to a consistent standard, including dialing in, milk steaming and texturing, and latte art

- Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized through service

- Greet guests warmly and handle orders accurately

- Work with the restaurant team during high-volume periods

Job Requirements:

- Hands-on professional barista experience (about 2 years preferred)

- Solid understanding of extraction and consistency

- Reliable, punctual, and calm under pressure

- Nice to have: specialty coffee background or cafe opening experience

Compensation notes: $14.15/hour + tips (avg $35-50/hr with tips)
