Landscape Technician / Grounds Maintenance Worker
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour (based on experience)
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Multiple Properties Throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Area
Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Landscape Technician to maintain the appearance and cleanliness of over 20 commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a zero-turn mower and be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
This position is responsible for mowing, trimming, property cleanup, litter removal, and general grounds maintenance to ensure our properties remain clean, safe, and professional in appearance.
Responsibilities
- Operate a zero-turn mower to maintain lawns at multiple properties.
- Trim grass and weeds around buildings, sidewalks, signs, fences, and landscaping features.
- Pick up trash and debris throughout the properties.
- Perform general property cleanup and maintenance.
- Edge sidewalks, curbs, and parking areas.
- Use blowers to clear grass clippings, leaves, and debris.
- Inspect properties and report maintenance concerns.
- Maintain landscaping equipment and keep it in safe working condition.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Travel between assigned properties as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience operating a zero-turn mower preferred.
- Previous landscaping, lawn care, or grounds maintenance experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record preferred.
- Ability to work independently and stay productive throughout the day.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Strong attention to detail and work ethic.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in Texas weather conditions.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment for extended periods.
