Red Hook Barrel Yard is looking for experienced, outgoing Hosts to join our front-of-house team.

We are a unique, high-volume hospitality destination encompassing a winery, cidery, restaurant, bars, and event spaces. We’re looking for confident hospitality professionals who can manage a busy door while creating a warm, organized, and welcoming experience from the moment guests arrive.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous NYC restaurant or high-volume hospitality experience strongly preferred
• Experience with Tock, Resy, or similar reservation platforms
• Comfortable managing reservations, waitlists, walk-ins, and table pacing
• Able to confidently communicate with guests during busy services and long waits
• Strong understanding of floor plans, sections, and restaurant flow
• Excellent communication with servers, managers, and fellow hosts
• Friendly, polished, calm, and professional under pressure
• Comfortable working in a large venue with multiple distinct spaces
• Weekend availability is essential

This is an active position. Our hosts are expected to understand the entire operation, communicate constantly with the floor team, and help move guests seamlessly throughout the Barrel Yard—not simply stand behind a host desk.

We’re looking for people who genuinely enjoy hospitality, have great energy, and know how to make guests feel taken care of even during a very busy service.
