Sushi Tokoro is looking for a reliable Kitchen Assistant / Dishwasher to join our team at our Madison Ave location.
Responsibilities
Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and kitchen equipment.
Assist chefs with basic food preparation and portioning.
Keep kitchen stations, sinks, floors, and storage areas clean and organized.
Receive deliveries and put away supplies.
Remove trash and recycling.
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
Assist with opening and closing duties.
Qualifications
Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
Comfortable working in a busy restaurant kitchen.
Positive attitude and willingness to support the team.
Able to stand for extended periods and safely handle kitchen supplies.
Kitchen or dishwashing experience preferred; training is available.
