BADMAASH is a family-owned and operated Indian restaurant group known for its bold flavors, creative approach to Indian cuisine, and vibrant atmosphere. We're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Food Expeditor (Expo) to join our Venice team!

We're looking for a reliable, organized, and energetic Expo to help keep our kitchen and front-of-house operations running smoothly. This role is essential to ensuring that every dish leaving the kitchen meets our standards for quality, presentation, accuracy, and timing.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment, communicates clearly, and works well under pressure.

• Coordinate food orders between the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth, timely service.

• Check all dishes for accuracy, quality, presentation, and proper garnishes before they leave the kitchen.

• Ensure orders are complete and sent to the correct tables.

• Communicate effectively with chefs, servers, food runners, and management throughout service.

• Monitor ticket times and prioritize orders to maintain an efficient flow of service.

• Communicate dietary restrictions, allergies, modifications, and special requests clearly to the kitchen.

• Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient expo station.

• Assist with food running and other service-related tasks as needed.

• Support the team during busy service periods and help resolve order discrepancies quickly.

• Previous restaurant experience required; experience as an Expo, Food Runner, or in a similar role preferred.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to food quality.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.

• Positive attitude, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset.

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Familiarity with POS systems and kitchen ticketing systems is a plus.
