Hurricane Shutter Protection Service Technician

Join our winning team, High Velocity-Category 5, the industry leader in hurricane protection. In this role you will be responsible for assisting our electrician performing electrical installation and service/repair on a variety of hurricane protection solutions including accordion shutters, rolling shutters, roller screens and awnings.

Join the leader in the industry for hurricane protection. Hurricane shutter protection experience (rolling shutters & accordion shutters) is required.  We provide a service van and ladder for your use during normal business hours. You will provide your own hand tools.

In this role you will be required to:

  • As part of the electrical crew and under the supervision of the crew-lead who is a certified master electrician, you will pull electrical wire, install conduit, j-boxes and wiring necessary to power motors
  • Program motors and controls as necessary
  • Troubleshoot, repair, replace our various hurricane protection solutions to include basic mechanical and/or electrical repair
  • Lift, load and transport product as necessary
  • Remove non-working solutions
  • Operate hand tools and hand power tools
  • Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle and report any maintenance issues

 

Qualifications:

· High School diploma or GED

· Valid driver’s license

· Must be able to lift heavy shutter materials

· Must be able to operate on a ladder

· Electrical experience or certification preferred

· Construction experience preferred

· Must speak English and be able to communicate with the customer while on site

 

Compensation Base: $20-$25 hourly based on experience

Service Van/Ladders/Drill bits/Screws provided for Business Use Only. Must provide own hand/power tools
