We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our team as Hotel Receiver / F&B Porter
This role oversees all receiving operations, managing stock, verifying quality and quantity of deliveries, and organizing goods. Your work directly supports our Culinary, F&B, Front Office & Housekeeping teams in delivering the elevated experiences that define Sofitel.
What You Will Be Doing:
RECEIVING:
- Supervise and execute all receiving operations for food, beverage, and general supplies.
- Safely operate equipment including pallet jacks, when necessary, to move or organize deliveries.
- Ensure accuracy of deliveries against purchase orders
- Submit all invoices/documentation to the F&B Administrator
- Coordinate all incoming and outgoing shipments, including client packages and group materials, collaborating closely with Sales, Events, Group Contacts, and Concierge to ensure seamless handling.
- Oversee the organization, cleanliness, and upkeep of the receiving and storage areas and loading dock in compliance with HACCP, safety, and brand standards.
PORTER DUTIES:
- Work collaboratively with Culinary & Stewarding to ensure food items are delivered promptly between the different kitchens/storage areas.
- Work collaboratively with Culinary & Stewarding to ensure staff cafeteria is stocked at all meal periods
- Ensure organization and timely return of pallets.
- Ensure breakdown and baling of cardboard boxes
