We are a reputable & growing company looking for great people. If you are someone with, 4+ years electrical experience, we invite you to apply for this opportunity to join Monroy Electric.

4+ years high-voltage electrical experience preferred. Experienced Technician.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE EXPERIENCED TECHNICIAN:

  • Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them.
  • Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.
  • Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units
  • Execute plans of electrical wiring for well functioning lighting, intercom and other electrical systems.
  • Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.)
  • Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components

Residential Setting Description:

  • Single and multi-family homes.
  • Apartments and condominiums.
  • Hotels, motels, and vacation residences.
  • Other types of residences located within the confines of a residential area as defined by the state.

JOB EXPECTATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Clean criminal background check & able to pass a drug test.
  • Neat and professional appearance.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent English is a plus, Basic English required (Hablamos español)
  • Proven experience as an electrician
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting of existing systems
  • Knowledge in low voltage and high voltage installations.
  • Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints
  • National Electric Code knowledge
  • Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts
