Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Location: Amherst, NY

Responsibilities of Position: 

• Schedules patient appointments collecting demographic and insurance information as outlined by Dent procedures.
• Make outbound calls to schedule internal referrals for diagnostic testing within a timely manner, meeting specifications set forth by the clinical providers.
• Works with diagnostic testing department to manage, maintain and update the schedule to promote optimal time management for the patient and/or technologist
• Reviews testing department’s schedule daily for availabilities and completes schedule with patient’s awaiting cancellations
• Updates schedules with cancellations or reschedules and notifies appropriate Dent staff as set forth by policy.  Notifies patients via telephone with changes made to their appointment time, place or date
• Reviews appointment list daily for errors, working as a team to resolve scheduling conflicts associated with department coverage changes, including conducting bump lists and rescheduling patients

• Most candidates will start within the first quartile of the pay range
• Rates are commensurate with experience
