About Barn Joo USQ

Barn Joo USQ is a Korean fusion restaurant in Union Square, NYC, offering a unique dining experience inspired by Korean culture, creative cocktails, and a vibrant atmosphere. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team and provide excellent service to our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve classic cocktails, signature drinks, beer, wine, and soju.

  • Provide friendly, professional, and attentive customer service.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar.

  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.

  • Monitor inventory, restock supplies, and communicate bar needs to management.

  • Process payments accurately and handle cash and POS transactions.

  • Work efficiently during busy shifts while maintaining quality and consistency.

  • Collaborate with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.

  • Learn and confidently explain our Korean-inspired cocktails, soju selections, and beverage menu.

  • Follow opening and closing procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality environment.

  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and standard bartending techniques.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.

  • Reliable, punctual, organized, and team-oriented.

  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

  • Must meet New York State legal requirements for alcohol service and provide valid authorization to work in the United States.
