Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• BSN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Colorado license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Cross Country Program - Children’s Hospital Colorado.

Additional Details:

Shift & Scheduling: Every third weekend. On-call requirement: none. 5 days max RTO on 13 week contract. At least 1 holiday and holiday eve required.

Special Requests: No RTO permitted during the first 2 weeks of the assignment.

Floating Requirements: May be floated to units within the cohort as outlined by Children’s Hospital Colorado policy. May be reassigned to other areas of practice within clinical competency.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027, 01/18/2027, 05/31/2027, 07/04/2027, 09/05/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 0. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
