About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for National Revenue Cycle Billing, Collections, and Adjustment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the national operations of the back-end insurance billing and collections department, ensuring compliant and regulatory correct billing with a focus on the highest entitled insurance reimbursement. This role involves managing people, processes, and systems in collaboration with various market and national leaders. The VP will also be accountable for the performance of the revenue cycle, including productivity, expense forecasting, and budgeting, and will actively participate in monitoring and evaluating reserve levels and accounting practices. A key aspect of the role is to lead the team in continuous improvement and to quantify revenue optimization opportunities. Candidates for this position should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in healthcare provider revenue cycle, with a strong background in billing, collections, payment processing, denial management, and accounts receivable finance operations. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with a preference for a Master's degree. The role demands a leader with proven skills in a matrix management environment, the ability to influence and collaborate, and a focus on results orientation. Experience in large-scale project management, business transformation, and a deep understanding of the operations of large healthcare systems are essential. The VP will also be expected to have advanced interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
