PLI Staffing is seeking an experienced MIG Welder for a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on MIG welding experience, the ability to read blueprints, and a valid AWS welding certification. This position requires strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality welds while following all safety procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding on metal components and assemblies according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and welding symbols.
- Inspect completed welds for accuracy, strength, and quality.
- Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Measure, align, and position materials prior to welding.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
- Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Valid AWS welding certification required.
- Previous MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to use measuring tools and welding equipment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required.
- Must follow all safety guidelines and quality control procedures.
