About this position

We are seeking a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to join our creative team. This role is ideal for an early-career designer who wants to develop their skills while contributing to digital, social media, marketing, branding, and print projects.

This is a full-time position offering $45,000–$58,000 per year, depending on experience, portfolio quality, technical skills, education, and qualifications.

The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, is eager to learn, can follow brand guidelines, and is comfortable receiving feedback and working collaboratively with more experienced designers and marketing professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create graphics for social media, websites, email campaigns, digital advertising, and marketing materials.
  • Assist with brochures, flyers, presentations, advertisements, and other print materials.
  • Support the development of marketing campaigns and creative concepts.
  • Resize and adapt existing designs for different platforms and formats.
  • Assist with maintaining brand consistency across digital and print materials.
  • Create basic layouts, graphics, icons, presentations, and visual assets.
  • Prepare design files for digital and print production.
  • Make revisions based on feedback from senior designers and marketing teams.
  • Organize and maintain design files, templates, and brand assets.
  • Assist with photo editing, image selection, and basic retouching when needed.
  • Collaborate with marketing, content, photography, and other creative team members.
  • Stay current with design trends, tools, and creative technologies.
  • Manage assigned projects and meet established deadlines.

Qualifications

Required

  • 0–2 years of graphic-design experience, including internships, freelance work, academic projects, or personal projects.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating design ability.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Understanding of typography, color, composition, layout, and visual hierarchy.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to accept feedback and make revisions effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and develop professionally.

Preferred

  • Experience with Figma, Canva, or similar design tools.
  • Experience creating social-media graphics.
  • Basic knowledge of branding and visual identity.
  • Basic photo-editing skills.
  • Familiarity with digital advertising and email marketing.
  • Basic motion graphics or video-editing skills.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools.
  • Bachelor's degree or certificate in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

The compensation for this position is $45,000–$58,000 per year, depending on experience, portfolio quality, technical capabilities, education, and qualifications.

Candidates with strong portfolios, relevant internships, freelance experience, or advanced Adobe Creative Cloud skills may be considered toward the upper end of the range.
