SUMMARY

Maintain and improve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to support safe, compliant, high-quality, and efficient grease production.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Troubleshoot and repair 3-phase motors, reducers, pumps, conveyors, palletizer, and other automated packaging equipment
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all production systems
Diagnose and repair electrical control panels and related systems
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
Perform welding, fabrication, piping repairs, and minor machine work
Operate forklifts and material handling equipment
Execute Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and all safety protocols
Maintain accurate records of PMs, daily work performed and parts inventory

Key Performance Metrics:
Safety: Zero tolerance for unsafe practices or conditions
Compliance: Full adherence to OSHA, company, and environmental standards
Quality: Deliver repairs that meet or exceed OEM/Company specifications
Production: Minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Maintenance background with knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations
  • Must be able to read blueprints, create drawings, install, troubleshoot and maintain various automation and measuring devices.
  • Knowledge of welding processes and pipe fitting.
  • Able to lift 55 lbs or more
  • Leadership of 2 or more team members
  • Mechanically inclined Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with others
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
  • Forklift operation, both standing and seated
  • Palletizer and packaging equipment experience
  • CMMS software, inventory management
  • Basic PLC troubleshooting
