Project Manager (Floral Park)

About this position

Firstline Contracting Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. We are a roofing contractor based in New Hyde Park, New York, specializing in commercial and government projects.

• Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience, preferably within the commercial roofing or construction industry
• Strong experience managing commercial and government/public-sector projects
• Experience with IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity) contracts is highly preferred
• Experience with JOC (Job Order Contracting) contracts is highly preferred
• Knowledge and experience with Sourcewell contracts/cooperative purchasing contracts is highly preferred
• Familiarity with task orders, work orders, government procurement requirements, and contract documentation is a strong plus
• Ability to coordinate projects from award through completion, including scheduling, subcontractors, materials, documentation, meetings, and project closeout
• Comfortable communicating with government agencies, owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and field personnel
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel regularly
• Must be willing to drive out of state to Maryland and Delaware fairly often for project meetings and site-related responsibilities
• Please note that our current projects are located outside New York State, so regular travel is an important part of this position
