About this position
Lucky Day is an upcoming neighborhood café and community space in Greenpoint, BK. In addition to breakfast, lunch, coffee, and matcha, the space will feature a carefully curated selection of retail pantry staples and everyday essentials. Additionally, Lucky Day will have plenty of kid- and adult-friendly events, gatherings, and programming!
We’re looking for experienced baristas to join the opening team.
We care just as much about hospitality as we do about coffee. We’re looking for people who are warm, thoughtful, reliable, calm under pressure, and genuinely enjoy getting to know regulars and making people feel welcome.
Responsibilities include:
- Espresso and coffee preparation
- Matcha and other café beverages
- Counter service and POS
- Maintaining drink quality and consistency
- Keeping the bar clean, stocked, and organized
- Opening and closing responsibilities
- Helping maintain a welcoming and inclusive guest experience
- Supporting the team wherever needed during service
Prior barista or café experience strongly preferred.
Full-time and part-time positions available. Weekend availability is important.
