NOW HIRING — JOIN THE JENSEN DESIGN TEAM
CUSTOM METAL FABRICATOR / WELDER
Jensen Design is a family-owned Wichita business that has been designing and fabricating custom, quality ironwork since 1984. We create one-of-a-kind railings, furniture, lighting, architectural pieces, décor, and custom metalwork for residential and commercial projects.
We’re looking for a skilled, dependable, and motivated person to join our team.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Fabricate and weld custom metal and wrought-iron pieces
- Read and work from drawings, measurements, and specifications
- Grind, finish, and prepare metal for installation
- Build unique projects from start to finish
- Work with a team of experienced craftsmen
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Take pride in producing high-quality work
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Welding and metal fabrication experience preferred but not required. If you are willing to learn we are willing to teach
- Ability to read a tape measure and basic drawings
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable work ethic and good attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Someone who takes pride in craftsmanship and wants to build things that last
Experience with MIG welding, TIG welding, grinding, forming, or ornamental ironwork is a plus.
