About this position
Job Title: Warehouse Engineer
Contract: 6 months with strong potential for extension
Location: Fairfield, OH
Pay Rate: $45 - $48/hr. On W-2 (Without Benefits and NO PTO)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize warehouse layouts for maximum space utilization and efficiency.
- Improve product flow, material handling, and warehouse processes using Lean concepts.
- Understand and coordinate warehouse functions, including receiving, storage, order preparation, and shipping.
- Analyze warehouse performance, costs, and service levels, and implement improvements.
- Lead projects focused on warehouse design and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
✅ Bachelor’s degree
✅ At least 2 years of experience in warehouse design and optimization
✅ Proficiency in CAD/drafting software, Microsoft Office, and SAP
✅ Knowledge of SQL, Tableau, or other database systems is a plus
