Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The Host is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming first impression while ensuring smooth and efficient guest flow throughout service.

Responsibilities include:

• Greet all guests with professionalism, warmth, and genuine hospitality
• Manage reservations and guest flow using the reservation system
• Effectively communicate wait times and manage guest expectations
• Escort guests to tables while providing a polished introduction to the dining experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area
• Coordinate with management and service staff to ensure seamless seating and pacing
• Anticipate guest needs and provide thoughtful assistance when needed
• Maintain strong communication with front-of-house team members
• Uphold all service standards and company policies
• Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards at all times
• Assist with additional duties as directed by management

• Fabio Trabocchi Restaurants offers full-time employees company-subsidized health insurance. A full-time employee must work an average of 30 hours per week to qualify for health insurance benefits. Coverage begins on the first day of the month following the employee’s 60th day of employment. The insurance enrollment period is between 30 and 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess a passion for hospitality, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to excellence.

Requirements include:

• 1–2 years of hosting experience in a fine dining restaurant, upscale establishment, or luxury hotel preferred (strong guest service experience may be considered in lieu of restaurant experience)
• Exceptional guest service and communication skills
• Strong emotional intelligence and ability to remain composed under pressure
• Gracious, polished demeanor with a positive and professional attitude
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Professional appearance and grooming standards consistent with fine dining
• Commitment to teamwork, hospitality, and continuous learning
