NOW HIRING: RESPIRATORY THERAPIST
ELITE MEDICAL CARE | Home Medical Equipment & Respiratory Services
ELITE MEDICAL CARE is seeking a compassionate, dependable Respiratory Therapist to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by helping patients safely manage their respiratory needs at home.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and provide patient and caregiver education on prescribed respiratory equipment, including ventilators, oxygen systems, and cough-assist devices.
- Perform patient assessments and follow-up visits within professional scope and company protocols.
- Evaluate equipment use, address concerns, and communicate patient needs to prescribing providers.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
- Coordinate with physicians, caregivers, and team members to support continuity of care.
- Follow infection-control procedures, equipment safety standards, and applicable requirements.
Qualifications
- Current respiratory therapist license in the state where care is provided.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred.
- Experience with home respiratory care and ventilator management preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient education skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for patient visits.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
