The Commercial HVAC Service Technician specializes in the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC systems including rooftop units, chillers, and variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems. Working within a small team, the technician ensures equipment operates efficiently and safely while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems such as rooftop units, chillers, and VRF systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system issues to ensure optimal performance
- Perform system testing and equipment calibration
- Conduct preventive maintenance and parts replacement
- Maintain safety compliance and adhere to regulatory standards
- Interact professionally with customers, addressing their concerns and explaining work performed
- Document service activities accurately for record-keeping and reporting
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC service
- Technical certification in HVAC or related field
- EPA Section 608 Certification
- Proficiency in HVAC system diagnostics and electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong customer service skills
