About this position
Angele Restaurant is a country French restaurant in the heart of downtown Napa, where many of our guests are regulars and neighbors. We pair fine dining standards with real warmth, and we're looking for a manager who loves hospitality as much as we do.
We are looking for a hands-on leader to join our management team who's as comfortable running food, polishing glassware or jumping on the host stand as you are running a pre-shift meeting. You lead by example, stay calm on our busiest nights, and take pride in remembering a regular's favorite table and wine. You see your team as people to develop, not just schedules to fill. Strong leadership skills and has a passion for food and wine are importamnt to us and we want to find the person who is the right fit for our team.
What you'll do
- Lead front-of-house service and keep it consistently excellent
- Build lasting relationships with our regulars and welcome new guests
- Train and mentor a team that shares our hospitality values
- Handle day-to-day operations
- Step in wherever the team needs you
Some of what we're looking for
- 2+ years of management or supervisory experience in fine dining
- A genuine passion for hospitality and for people
- Availability for evenings, weekends and holidays
