Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a Registered Sonographer to provide mobile ultrasound services at nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other patient care locations throughout the Omaha area. This is an independent role requiring strong technical skills, professionalism, and the ability to travel between multiple locations.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Pay: $40.00–$50.00/hour, based on experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound and vascular ultrasound exams using portable equipment.
  • Obtain high-quality, diagnostic images for Radiologist interpretation.
  • Travel to various patient care facilities throughout the assigned region.
  • Verify patient identity, exam orders, and required documentation.
  • Process and electronically transmit images for interpretation.
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and company vehicle.
  • Communicate professionally with patients, facility staff, dispatch, and healthcare teams.
  • Work independently while maintaining patient safety and quality standards.

Requirements

  • ARDMS or CCI registration with vascular ultrasound credentials (RVT/RVS).
  • General and vascular ultrasound experience.
  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Technology program.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Current required health/vaccination documentation.
  • Ability to travel between multiple locations.
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
