About Us

We are a family-owned welding and custom fabrication shop that has been proudly supporting our community for over 80 years! Because we tackle everything from everyday local repairs to custom structural projects, no two days here are ever the same.

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Welder / Custom Fabricator to join our team. This is not an assembly line job. You will work on multiple, diverse projects throughout any given day or week, switching between repair work and custom builds.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Custom Fabrication: Build custom handrails, racking systems, support columns, and unique builds based on customer drawings or provided patterns.
  • General Repairs: Repair trailers, lawn furniture, farm equipment, household items, and standard structural components.
  • Layout & Prep: Read patterns or blueprints, measure, cut, fit, and prep materials for welding.
  • Shop Operations: Work independently and alongside team members to complete high-quality projects efficiently while keeping a clean, safe work area.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: Prior welding experience is REQUIRED.
  • Certifications: Welding certifications are NOT required—we value hands-on experience, skill, and a good work ethic.
  • Ability to work directly from shop drawings, patterns, or customer sketches.
  • Versatility to switch between short repair tasks and multi-day fabrication projects.
  • Strong attention to detail, pride in craftsmanship, and a reliable work ethic.

What We Offer (Benefits)

  • Competitive hourly pay based on experience
  • Health Insurance: Includes a Health Savings Account (HSA) or a pay bump in lieu of insurance
  • Retirement: IRA Retirement Fund with a 3% salary match
  • Paid Time Off: Paid vacation time after 1 year of employment
  • Performance Rewards: Periodic pay raises and/or bonuses based on job performance
  • Work uniforms provided
