About this position
Server for the opening front-of-house team at a new full-service Brooklyn restaurant serving a menu inspired by the Middle East, the Balkans, and North Africa.
What you'll do:
- Greet guests, walk them through the menu and daily specials, and take accurate orders
- Enter orders correctly in the POS and coordinate timing with the kitchen and bar
- Keep tables set, clean, and attended to through the meal
- Check in on guests, handle concerns professionally, and process payments accurately
- Follow food safety and responsible alcohol service rules
Job Requirements:
- Previous server or similar guest-facing restaurant experience
- Strong communication and a genuine guest-first approach
- Basic food and beverage knowledge, able to explain dishes confidently
- Available evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Able to stand and walk and carry trays for long periods
Compensation notes: $14.15/hour + tips (avg $35-50/hr with tips)
