Your New Role

  • Maintain a 360-degree view of restaurant operations throughout your shift

  • Lead and coordinate restaurant team members to keep service running efficiently

  • Assign responsibilities and ensure daily operational tasks and checklists are completed

  • Open and close the restaurant and complete required opening and closing responsibilities

  • Support front-of-house operations, including assisting at the register and providing customer service

  • Assist with cooking, food preparation, and other back-of-house operations

  • Lead the team throughout the shift and work across different stations as needed

  • Prepare, cook, and finalize food according to restaurant standards

  • Help ensure food is prepared accurately, safely, and consistently

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe restaurant environment

  • Deliver excellent customer service and assist with resolving customer concerns

  • Support hiring, onboarding, and training of restaurant team members

  • Monitor team performance and provide clear direction during shifts

  • Follow and reinforce food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures

  • Step into different areas of the restaurant whenever the team needs additional support

  • 1+ year of Shift Lead, supervisory, or comparable team-leadership experience required; 2+ years preferred

  • Restaurant or food service experience preferred, but not required

  • Current ServSafe certification

  • Ability to lead, organize, and coordinate a team during busy restaurant shifts

  • Ability to open and close the restaurant and complete required opening and closing responsibilities

  • Comfortable supporting front-of-house operations, including register responsibilities and customer service

  • Ability to assist with cooking, food preparation, and back-of-house operations

  • Willingness and ability to work across different restaurant stations as needed

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Availability to work weekends

  • Ability to follow and reinforce food safety and sanitation procedures

  • Dependable, organized, and willing to step into different restaurant responsibilities as needed

  • Ability to complete opening, closing, operational, and food preparation checklists accurately

  • Willingness to support employee onboarding, training, and day-to-day team leadership

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment
