Surgery physician job in Arkansas :
An established Hyperbaric and Wound Care Center in Rogers, Arkansas, is seeking a full-time Physician to step into a Medical Director role. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a dedicated wound care and hyperbaric medicine team, including three experienced mid-level providers.
You?ll be part of a comprehensive limb salvage program that collaborates closely with specialists in infectious disease, vascular surgery, cardiology, orthopedics, and general surgery to provide high-quality, team-based patient care. This position is outpatient only, with no night, weekend, or call responsibilities.
About the Opportunity:
- Base salary around 230k plus generous production bonuses
- Medical benefits, 4 weeks of PTO annually, 5 days of CME with expense allowance
- Great work-life balance schedule: No nights, weekends, or call
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat new and follow-up patients for wound care
- Diagnose wounds and underlying conditions using ICD-10
- Develop and manage patient care plans in coordination with the broader healthcare team
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and referring providers
- Supervise hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) treatments
- Perform advanced wound care procedures (e.g., debridement, grafts)
Qualifications:
- Active Arkansas medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
- HBO certification is required (expenses for training and travel may be covered)
- Experience in wound care is a plus
