Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Area Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and safety standards within a generator manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for cleaning production areas, equipment surroundings, and workplace surfaces while following all safety procedures and maintaining a safe, organized work environment. This position focuses on manufacturing floor cleanliness and does not include restroom cleaning.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of manufacturing areas, including mopping floors, wiping surfaces, and maintaining general housekeeping standards.
- Clean and maintain safety railings, storage cabinets, plexiglass barriers, and other workplace fixtures.
- Follow all safety guidelines, PPE requirements, and facility procedures while working in an industrial environment.
- Support a clean, organized, and hazard-free production area.
- Identify and report safety concerns, spills, or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in an orderly manner.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning, manufacturing housekeeping, or a similar environment preferred.
- Ability to safely operate basic cleaning equipment and follow established procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety and cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and maintain consistent quality standards.
- Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing/production environment.
