About this position

The Golden Swan is a three-floor West Village restaurant from Neighborhood Projects: a refined New York bistro across multiple floors including a buzzing downstairs bar room.

We are hiring a Floor Manager who lives for the guest: someone who knows the regulars by name, reads a room, and makes a private event feel effortless.

What you'll do
- Own guest relations on the night: regulars, VIPs and event clients, with guest notes kept up to date in Resy
- Run the floor as manager on duty across five shifts a week: pacing, table turns, cuts and the close
- Own private event administration: event menus with the kitchen, client logistics and run sheets
- Build the weekly host, polisher and barista schedules
- Lead pre-shift and support training and service standards

What you'll bring
- At least two years as a floor manager or manager on duty in NYC full-service restaurants
- Real warmth with guests and the judgment to fix problems on the spot
- Private event experience, from planning to service on the night
- Comfort with Toast and Resy, or similar systems
- Good wine knowledge is a strong plus; an NYC Food Protection Certificate is a plus

What we offer
- $75,000–$85,000 a year depending on experience, inclusive of a $5,000 health stipend
- A five-shift week, typically 50–55 hours, within a three-manager team
- Paid time off

Schedule: a mix of opens and closes, including Monday closes and Sunday brunch. Nights, weekends and holidays required. More detail about The Golden Swan part of Neighborhood Projects, please visit https://culinaryagents.com/entities/522719-The-Golden-Swan
