Job Description

Austin Handyman Pros is a growing residential and commercial maintenance and repair company serving the Austin, Texas area.

We are seeking a skilled, dependable, and detail-oriented Handyman / Maintenance Technician to join our team on a part-time basis.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in general home repairs, maintenance, and light remodeling. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates professionally, and can complete assigned tasks efficiently while meeting our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general handyman repairs and property maintenance.
• Complete drywall repairs, patching, painting, and caulking.
• Repair and install doors, trim, cabinets, and hardware.
• Install TVs, shelves, fixtures, and accessories.
• Perform minor plumbing repairs, including faucet and toilet component replacements.
• Assist with residential and commercial punch-list projects.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Document completed work with before-and-after photos.
• Communicate job updates and material needs to management.
• Follow company procedures and workmanship standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of handyman, maintenance, remodeling, or construction experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of common repair techniques and tools.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel between job sites throughout the Austin area.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent punctuality, communication, and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Smartphone for scheduling, job updates, and documentation.
• Basic personal hand tools preferred.

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: $25.00 per hour
• Employment: Part-time, W-2 employee
• Days: Monday through Friday
• Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Hours scheduled based on project demand and business needs.
• Opportunity for additional hours as the company grows.
