We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team at Highland Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Wellsville, New York.

About the Role:

As a Physical Therapy Assistant at Highland Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, you will play a vital role in our subacute rehab program, providing top-quality care to our patients. You will work closely with our physical therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, helping patients recover from injuries, illnesses, or surgery. Our state-of-the-art rehab technology and modern facilities ensure that you will have the resources you need to deliver exceptional care.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans

  • Conduct physical therapy treatments, including exercises, modalities, and other interventions

  • Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to physical therapists

  • Maintain accurate and thorough records of patient treatments and progress

  • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

  • Possess a current New York State license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
