Position: Open Table Welder - 2nd Shift 

Location: Lannon, WI

Compensation: $22.00–$28.00 per hour, plus a $3.00/hour shift premium 


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding on carbon steel components according to blueprints, weld symbols, and production specifications.
  • Operate automated or semi-automated welding equipment as required.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and fabrication drawings.
  • Set up welding equipment and adjust machine settings to achieve proper weld quality.
  • Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and compliance with quality standards.
  • Grind, clean, and prepare materials before and after welding.
  • Measure and verify parts using tape measures, squares, and other measuring tools.
  • Work closely with fitters, plasma operators, and production team members to meet manufacturing schedules.
  • Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment and report any equipment issues.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper PPE use and safe handling of materials and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous MIG welding experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or heavy industrial environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of welding techniques, metal fabrication processes, and quality inspection standards.
  • Experience operating automated or semi-automated welding equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to use measuring tools accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet production demands.
